KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Calculate new budget based on changes in respective plants.
- Maintain master data sheet by GL account updated on a monthly basis.
- Adjust forecast for financial implication of changes in operation.
- Provide commentary for variances between actual, budget, forecast, prior forecast & prior year actual.
- Finalize reallocations & accruals for outstanding expenses for the month & flex in line with changes.
- Investigate trends, deviations from trends & anomalies.
- Present to respective plants senior managers & general manager.
- Identify potential efficiency improvements in each operation.
- Track progress made on KPA’s highlighting actions taken, problems encountered and results achieved.
- Support management with adhoc requests for information or analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- NQF 5 (240 Credits), Degree or Diploma in Accounting.
- Relevant Management and Financial Accounting/costing experience (1-3 years), preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrate ability to operate and interact at management levels.
- Demonstrate ability to supervise a small team of people.
- Advanced computer literacy (Essential).
- Good business acumen (Advantageous).
