Your programme includes a 10 month period of intensive hands-on-work and a 2 month study period annually (non-consecutive) You will be coached and supervised by Master technian. This is a hands-on position where you’ll ensure all repairs carried out is in accordance with the high-quality standards requirement covering repair, performance and final inspection laid down by our global repair instructions. You are responsible for repair costs, repair quality and service to the customers. Beyond repair operations you’ll support the Regional Repair Experts to continuously improve the repair standards and all relevant repair process
The apprentice is part of the TSC team for Hilti South Africa and is responsible for always offering an exceptional level of repair, specifically focusing on quality, speed, and costs of repair of Hilti tools.
As a Tool Service Centre Artisan, you will be responsible for ensuring the best-in-class repair of Hilti power tools in different segments, like angle grinders, rotary hammers, combi hammers, vacuum cleaners, breakers, screwdrivers, diamond and measuring tools, and others. This role will require you to use analytical skills to perform root cause analysis and develop proposals & solutions to improve the quality, speed and costs of repair process. Day to day you’ll report to TSC manager, team leader and master technicians who will also be there to support you with your training and development.
